Champagne Wishes and Cocktail Dreams is turning 2!

We've had another amazing year and in celebration of our Birthday is hosting our Second Annual Anniversary Hop. We invite you all to hop through our board and let us know why you love the Holiday season! If you have a board or know of a board that would like to participate with us have them sign up in the thread link below. The sign up deadline is December 14th and the hop will go from December 15th through January 1st.

We appreciate all of you that have came through our board this year and look forward to the coming year. We'll also be having a holiday game area for you to enjoy so please make us a stop this month. We hope you all have a very Merry Holiday Season.

Urine or You're Out

I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem.

What I do have problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. So here is my question:

Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?

Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their rump--doing drugs, while I work... Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?

I guess we could title that program, 'Urine or You're Out'.

With the passing of Sen. Ted Kennedy this past week, a lot of nice things were said about him & how he was in the corner of the common man & blue collar America, Which is nice. But the thing that has always bothered me is; why didn't he ever serve jail time for drunk driving which resulted in the death of Mary Jo Kopechne ?
I'll tell you why, he was a Kennedy. The royal family of the United States. Yes, there were many tradgic events in their family history, but they also got away with way to many things. They were above the law.

To inform or refresh anyone's memory, here's what happened.
On the morning of July 19, 1969, Kopechne's body was discovered inside an overturned car belonging to Senator Edward "Ted" Kennedy

hey Cazzo
this may sound weird but I could use your help. I just started school and one of my assignments is to interview someone I know that was born outside of the US. well in my offline life, I dont know anyone lol.
